What is the definition of suicide?
- A person that commit suicide by falling on a handgrenade is called a hero
- A person that do a stunt with a small margin of success and is killed, is called a daredevil
- A person that against odds climb Mount Everest and die is called an adventurous
- A person that choose euthanasia is called pro-choice
- A person that ends his life because an expensive medical condition is ruining the life for his beloved family (dialises e.g.) is a suicide?
I think any act that knowingly might cost a persons life, is suicide.
The issue is not committing one's life, the how, the when, but rather the why.
