The dead and injuried are likely to be University students. 40 attacks were foiled in Feburary alone.

A powerful explosion ripped apart an Egged bus Wednesday afternoon in Haifa’s Carmeliya neighborhood, killing at least 15 people and wounding more than 40, at least 10 of them seriously. Police said the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber sitting at the rear of the bus.
The blast, which took place on the city’s main Moriah Boulevard near the Carmel Center at 2:17 P.M., turned the number 37 bus into a charred wreck and scattered bodies along the road. Because of the hour, the bus would have been packed with students from the nearby University of Haifa, officials said.
Police said the bomb was “medium-sized,” laden with metal shrapnel and strapped to the bomber’s body. Suicide bombers often add nails and bolts to the explosive devices, in order to maximize the number of injuries.
You can hand held ones outside of the US, I know you have difficulty miniaturising stuff due to the XXL population, but some of those Israelis might and nimble hands.

Might be a good idea as a donkey loaded with explosives has been used before in an attack, maybe a camel is next.
Checking everyone who boards a bus with metal detectors would create a traffic nightmare and render the buses useless as it would be quicker to walk most places. The idea just doesn't make sense.
What does tit for tat achieve? If you wanna talk “numbers”, there are more Palestineans dead at the hands of the well equipped Israeli army.
Whats sad is that this latest attack on the Palestinean civilians could only muster 2 or 3 minutes of CNNs airtime.
