Noopsie! This is primarily an Arab disease that has infected Afghani and Pakistani mostly Pashtoons from 1988 onwards.
Afghans used to fight like "marad" [man] where you announced yourself to the enemy before attacking. However thanks to Arab influence, that manliness have been replaced by hidden (read eunuch-ish) tactics of suicide bombings.

Forget about the past and think about the future? I see. So poor Afghans had no idea about what will be the out come of military training and resisting Russia. All of a sudden they realized suicide bombing is an option (promoted by Arab League) and committed to this war strategy without knowing how deadly this weapon is.

Can you name 1 particular incident of suicide bombing in Afghanistan against the Russians? The Pakistani officer who ran the Afghan Resistance never mentioned Suicide Bombings in his book "The Bear Trap" about the resistance.
He conceded that Afghans were suicidal in that they would get into gunfights they could not win, but made no mention of suicide bombing as a tactic.

It's to be believed that these tactics and technics where familiar to Russian Soldiers, not just the courage or/and the mad man attitude of Afghans led to the high respect in battles against them.

It's more about the introduction of suicide bombers to wahabis. Believe me, Saudi's have better things to do like train terrorists on Afghan-Pakborders, opress the weak, marry more than 1 woman, watch camel race, discriminate pakistani's at Hajj and Umrah,etc., but they never made inventions of such kind. This is something they have to learn yet.
