If history was documented clearly in the Middle East you would see how the Al Saud and Al Wahab families took ‘power and glory’ … They did it by destroying shrines and forcing people to to accept their way or be killed. They fought the bedouins, shi’a, sufis of their own lands and took the war to the Ottomans to break away from the caliphate … You will read statements like … “On the collapse of the Ottoman Empire … X,y z …” But one should ask how did it ‘collapse’ in the Hejaz region? It was a coup. Undeniably this same ideology has resurfaced with more septic potency than before.
