Sui gas inaugurated in 12 unions: Greater national consensus is need of the hour: Durrani

Actually this is an interesting story, the gas reserves were discovered in Kohat and when the gas companies started developing it the federal government actually was going to bypass the local areas. The locals kicked up a real protest, not wanting to be treated the way the Baloch have been by Islamabad they acually got a High court Ruling forcing the gas company to provide gas locally first.
