We are hoping to change this forum so that it includes academics as well as career info and I am looking for catchy name and description from the members of this forum.
So for the imaginative thinkers… here’s your chance to show your skills and dazzle us all.
Worried about your future and the opportunities that prevail? If so, divulge your thoughts and questions on all academia-related topics - education, school, university life, careers and the marketplace!

Khan_sahib : good idea.. I was planning a series of posts regarding some popular and not so popular professions so that people can get a feel for whats out there.
I think that list might be misleading. I can tell you why. You know that we are bhaiR chaal people and would follow what others are following. Like, there was a time when all people wanted to become lawyers, then doctor or engineers, then MBA, then Accountants and now IT. They tend to forget if there is any future for them and would there be a market for their skills by the time they graduate. I think there is a need to educate ourselves as to get skills so that our choices are wider.
haaN, some tips on making a perfect CV for the right job (relating to particular profession and area) as I believe that there are different styles used in different parts of the world.
