I got married beginnin of Jan…used to llive in Canada but now have moved to London…I dont know many people here and I get so damn bored when my husband goes to work…I miss my family n friends… :frowning: esp since i think i have too much free time…

Any suggestions on how can i keep myslef busy around here?

Can you do part time work? Or start taking some college classes (this is what i am doing), volunteer somewhere etc.

OMG, you have all of England in front of you, go explore, immerse yourself in her history, there's SO much to do, you can easily spend 6 months exploring.

what did you do in Canada or what would you have done in Canada had you stayed there?
how about making some new friends for starters? :) big city, lots of people

try making new friends in london through here on gs. i see so many people located in the uk- i am sure you will find some nice friends to hang out with or talk to.

Go exploring and check out the sites. Most museums and art galleries in London are free if you like that sort of thing.

Volunteering is a good idea too. Local charity shops are always looking for volunteers.

Thanks for all the suggestions :) ....going out and exploring sounds like a nice option...and so does volunteerin'....can Uk guppies share what are the most fun things one can do around london???

I actually just got done with my bachelors there in Canada....and i can't work here cuz i am on a visit visa and have applied for dependent visa...will take a while to get that...then i can start working..
