Uploading restriction on GS servers is temporary due to some technical reasons. This option will be restored soon.

Actually, only thing that is restricted to upload is audio files because of some legal issues.
Image Upload is working... DO NOT use attachment adding option.. it's being disabled for over an year now.. just that it could not be taken out and is confusing almost every guppy on the board... 100s of threads have been opened yet people do not know...
Look at the right of this page. You will see a 'quickie' ... At the bottom of it, you will see image upload just above the Google Button... :)

once i was used to access a forum there aik pakistan radio fm 107 k naam se aik banda aya karta tha woh jab ata tha pura forum bas usi k naam se jagmaga jata tha jahan dekho wohi 10 12 threads uskay apnay hotay alag alag forum mei aur har thread mei har banday ko alag alag rep uss pe bhi ban lag gya tha n yahan bhi aik sahab hain unhein dekh kar mujhe wohi sahab yaad aa jatay hain !
