Jee to jahan kaam ki baatein ho rahi hon wahan mod bhi nahi aatay to members to duur ki baat hai iss problem ko solve kia jaaye aur har roz 2 2 new threads open na kiye jaayen as the policy of this forum thanks !

being lonely, you joined this forum on March 9, 2006. Aap ke aaney sey pehley hum koi 2006 baar is qisam ke threads open kar chukey heiN. Your thread is being watched everyday, at least by me. Rest assured! If you guys come up with any good suggestion, you will see it in action in no time

Nazam of the week ka compitition hona chaiye !!!Iss se hum sabh ko bohat acha acha parhnay ko milay ga !Koi bhi topic select kar uss se related nazm post karnay ko kahein aur aik week mein aik topic n 1 compitition aur uss ki rating kaisay karni hai woh Mods batayen ge !!!

The best thread selection should only be mods’ domain. It will be unfair for us - the ghareeb, majboor, laachaar awaam - to have say in it. Do not be surprised… I have my own reasons, which are open for criticism and disapproval but like I care 
1. First and the top most, mods are supposed to be the most poetry savvy and knowledgable than anyone. This particular skill is what I believe is the reason through which they can decide what is fair and right in the forum - threads being moved, deleted, merged, appreciated etc etc. 
And the set of mods we have here are quite capable of this.
2. There are people, self included, who visit poetry because they love it but are not quite knowledgable about its dynamics. People like me can appreciate good poems, rythm, thoughts and what not but it’s very hard for us to pinpoint technical issues such as Qaafiyaa, wazan, radeef, zameen, beh’r etc. in a poem. We can be very bias at times and can end up doing injustice to a better piece of poetry over a relatively normal one; only by judging it at our standards when we could not understand the deserving poem.
3. People will have less chance to accuse each other of favor and friendship, which is a common trait in humans, and very prevalent among our community, unfortunately. Every one trusts Amal and Nikami and their selection will be seen with open eyes. Others’ selection, even if correct, will have a potential of disagreement and can start arguments.. (And dun tell me I am pessimistic, it is I am saying after spending 6-7 years in this forum and seeing it all.. I am just being realistic).
Hope, my points are taken as a mere Point of View

AQ miyaan aapki raaye tau achi hai,lekin zara urdu main iska tarjuma ker dete tau behtar rehta,hamein bhi is zariyekuch nafees alfaazon se lutf-andoz hone ka mauqa faraham ho jaata.

Good thred beign lonely. Amal and Nikami are very good mods and as Amal said any good suggestion will be acted upon immediately. Her nick might be Nikami but really she is not nikami. :)

Amal bhai n Ehsan bhaii there must be a rating tab through which ppl rate the poetry and we can easily modify the wining post !!! instead of mods do it by themself !!!also mods can rate the posts and there must be awards for the winner as in our game section !!!thanks !!

This is a good idea. Nazm of the Month ko hum Nazm of the Week bana saktey heiN.
Kuch arsa pehley bhi ye point discuss huwa tha. MeiN ney hi ye baat ki thi but I was lost somehow, somewhere There may be some layout problems with ratings coming into action. But definitely doable and could be interesting.

We cn have a thread in the 'Intikhab' forum where people can read selective poetry in their own voice and upload it. This I must point out is a only a suggestion.
