Guys, this forum as we all know is very important for us post 2001 as it connects people of Pakistan and the world together. During the past few years the importance of blogs and discussion forums (internationally) has increased a lot, we don’t know who frequents these forums. Its not a coincidence that you guys will notice that some topics that we discuss here, the next day some politician is talking about them.
This forum can serve multiple purposes, firstly by positive discussions on the forum different ethicities have a chance to know each other better, secondly the world also wants to learn about Pakistan and Pakistanis too. Therefore we can interact with the outside world with the help of these forums too. The beauty of these forums is that people from diverse backgrounds and political affiliations post here.
I’d like to have suggestions from all of you who post here as to how we can further improve the quality of the forum? The suggestions are welcome from every one!
Are you talking about expanding the forum or more like improving the discourse on this forum? I think that for a free discourse, a freedom of speech approach should be taken so that people are free to express their opinions.
No just improving the level of discussion and participation of people in the forum where they can discuss things freely (following the rules of the forum).

However, one suggestion is to reduce the threads on same topic to one.
Too many Lotay threads recently were opened and then some turned out to be fake.
If that happens like spreading blatant misguided thread (such and such joining PTA) OP claims something but rejected by so many and OP cannot back it up , then those should be removed. Waste of time even reading them let alone participating in them.
While anything can be improved, I frankly am of the opinion that the forum is pretty good as is. I personally enjoy the variety of opinions, levels of understanding and types of language used. Very entertaining and sometimes educational (as for example the posts about Baloochi history).
If I make a couple of small suggestions they would be:
1) Whenever a non-English post / reference is made, attach a translation for the benefit of others
2) Get rid of the rather childish habit of insult by lower case (eg: "india is Pakistan's neighbor")
