Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

We have a diverse PA community with varied point of views but generally respecting each other by using cordial and friendly language. Diversity together with mutual respect for each other makes our forum a unique/civilzed place to express ourselves. While we encourage open debates on nearly every topic, we are very harsh on bad chioce of words. Although we do restrict certain type of postings such as posts in favour of terrorist, against our beloved country, and against any religion.. we do encourage an open and free expression of views.

I would like to hear PA posters if they have any suggestions for the moderators and administration.

While I pledge maximum impartiality on behalf of all the mods while doing their moderation work, we are also normal people with opinions. Please do guide us if you feel something must be improved or changed.

Re: Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

I think this thread took a different turn, right from the second post. Mods or no Mods ... lets all stick to the original spirit of this thread and find out how we can, as a community, add more value to this forum.

Lets not name names or bring any political party in discussion. I am sure we can discuss what was requested without bringing politics in it.

Re: Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

Ok, lets try again!
Please stay on the topic. "How do you think we as a community can add more value to this forum?"

[note]Please use this thread to give your poitive input. Do not use this thread for political posturing...[/note]

Re: Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

I state again my position regarding enforcement of rules and regulations against general stupidity and tomfoolry. Warn/Ban the dumbasses.

Sorry my friend..

You can be as stupid as you want... as long as you don't support the terrorist, and more or less stick to the topic, you are free to express yourself in this forum....

Re: Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

I have no suggestion but I have to say thanks to you all because I have learn a lot here in last part of my life. Actually I am in a great struggle for my son Jawad Pasha but I was a part of many events in my life so I got a chance to share. I am still afraid of some very dangerous quarters so can not tell you many things but hope when I will get a window I will write here. My ethics do not allow me to use a fake name otherwise it was possible.

You are a great contributor to the forum. Inspite of differences with diverse groups posting here, you have always kept your calm. You have never showed any hate or you have never abused anyone.

I hope you will continue to share your views for a long time here...

Re: Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

I think all posts in which Taliban, Al Qaeda, or any other militant group is praised, their attacks justified should be immediately removed and the poster warned.

These posts are nothing more than flame posts which attempt to derail meaningful discussion.

Re: Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

^^Agree with above. There are a few users who praise terrorists and their activities. But not only do they have a terrorist mind but they are also hypocrites.

Re: Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

We all except and cry about unity among different ethnic (religious, social) and political parties but fail to show here. If we do so than it will be much better and more constructive form rather same old name calling knee jerking replies. Also, believe me or not, we can actually make a difference in reality when using PA wisely. I have been a member for years now and I know the importance and reach of PA and GS in general.

Let's use it wisely and leave the "Freedom of Speech" of saying anything to Blogs.

Re: Suggestions-PA posters can give their input

[note] Everyone the purpose of this thread to provide constructive suggestions & not point scoring. Who would/should be ban and & for what reason that is up to admin/mod team. I'm removing irrelevant stuff. [/note]
