I have been reading posts in the wedding forum for a few days now and for some reason was unable to post anything or reply to anyone’s posts.
My cousin is getting married soon and we desperately need some suggestions or i should say advices..lol
The wedding will be takin place in lahore (inshallah) and living in Canada we dont kno too much in terms of clothing and jewllery stores.
Could you girls (or even guys if they happen to read this) tell us where to go and look for shadi’s dresses.
I havent attended a wedding in pakistan for about 12 yrs now so I have no idea what other things are involved when it comes to planning for weddings from girl’s side…
Also wanting to know what good banquet halls are in lahore, thier contact info, services and charges (anything would be helpful)
Oh and most importantly any suggestions for salons/beauty parlours??? I have read some scary things in the forums and even heard stories.. =(

There are loads of places for wedding shopping in Lahore, for example, Liberty, Auriga, Anarkali and of course Fortress Stadium...You'll find lot of shops for bridal stuff...
As for banquet halls...There are halls in Pearl Continental and Avari...They are kinda expensive but very classy...

Hello Soniya, I just joined this forum too and well i am basically from Karachi so woud have lots more to tell about here vis-a-vis fashion. I just attended a wedding in Lahore last week and the bride was wearing something from HSY and her make up was from Allenora, which i have heard is very good. If youre interested i can tell you about Karachi wedding scene which might help.

Im new to this forum..i am from Karachi and know a lot about the wedding and fashion scene here, but i just went to a wedding in Lahore last week, the bride was wearing HSY and her make up was from Allenora, who apparently is quite popular. If you need to know anything about the wedding scene in Karachi, do let me know. :)

i could've helped if u wanted info about karachi..but bout lahore..i have no idea! but once u'll go there and roam around bazaars and boutique u'll get an idea of latest fashion and everything!

hello, NEW LOOK is the best and i liked it so much they did my makeup perfect, as for hall....in lahore.....Leaders Inn...it is sooo nice really looks like an american or canadian hotel. PC is too expensive and Holiday inns and marriots are so old and ugly.
