Hey guys…i want everyone’s suggestions regards to what they look forward to see in the next summer’s printed lawn/chiffon. What kind of themes (retro, vintage, etc), styles (bold, contemporary, traditional, etc) and colors (pastels, bright, any special colors) you would want to see more of?. Any other fabric other than lawn and chiffon that you guys wear during summers?. And whats the first thing that attract you to the printed fabric you buy?.

Light cotton is something Iwould like to see. Fresh prints and not the dastarkhwan (bread wrap) designs prints.

suggestions: I usually wear lawn (at home) and cotton clothes (outside) in summer. I like soothing colors for summer, like a soft peach, or a sky blue etc. because they give a cool feel. For prints keep it simple, nothing too big, or chunky. retro and vintage both are nice themes, so maybe a mix of both. As for style, I like to mix and match traditional and contemporary, so again a bit of both would be nice.

im planning on getting some 60's inspired shalwar kameez's made....lots of candy colors....fitted pants (like churidaar but with less bunching around ankles....like skinny jeans) with tight knee length shirts with short side slits, pleating, back zips, low back & skinny dupattas.
