Hi,
My husband’s birthday is coming and he won’t be with me on his birthday. He would be on a business trip so any suggestions about what gifts can i give him? As i really can’t send anything…or can I?
And also please tell me what gifts usually you give to your husband/boyfriends?

I love giving presents...for your husband you have so many options TS...he sounds like is a professional man and travels for work.
A really nice leather briefcase...Cole Haan has nice ones.
Cologne...although its not very original...still a good option.
Cuff links...I adore cuff links on a man.
Tie and shirt sets...I would do this.
A really nice shaving set.
A good leather wallet.
A watch.
Other then these things TS...what is he missing? You could even get him 2 or 3 pairs of really nice shoes and that would be a good birthday present. Maybe a nice outfit for an event coming up? Something he has had his eye on but doesnt want to spend the money? :)

Cuban cigars, a gulfstream jet....a nice suit.... take him to Savile Row to be fitted for a suit... nothing sexier than a man in a suit :@:

Thanks for the suggestions guys but i said he won't be there with me on his birthday, so is there anything special i can do to make his day special even being miles apart? Anything beside emails and ecards...coz that i already know.
why dont you send him a gift with a picture of you on it, or a picture of the 2 of you that you know he likes? lots of photo shops can print pictures onto gifts, eg mugs, t-shirts, paperweights etc. go find out :)

Twilight , last year I gifted my hubby , a personalized calender , basically I collected 11 pictures of various people close to him i.e parents, siblings , best friend , him and I , him with his car and so on ... and the 12th pic was a mosaic of all of the family pics ..
He loved it .... you usually get personalized calenders from the shops that do cup and shirt printing ..

You can make him something. A calendar like CB suggested or a handmade card (dunno if that that's corny). But you can personalize it. For example, for every letter of the alphabet....write a quality that you love about your husband. For example, for the letter H...you can say that you love his sense HUMOR. Or for the letter I, you can say you admire his INTELLIGENCE. Just a thought.
You can also personalize with pictures. And you can also buy him a gift that is personalized with his name, date, and a message. There is a store called Things Remembered where you can buy cute gifts such as desk materials, coffee mugs, and pens....and engrave a special message on them.
