How about "bota from toba take singh"? Its an old but I think you would probably like it if you like simple village life and its issues along with comedy.
And my all time favorites which I still miss to this very day are,
and one more but I don't remember the name of it which was directed and written by Dr. Saeed and it was a comedy in which the music band "String Fellow" performed.
