I am have finished my placement year as a Research and Statistics Officer and going for the final year of BA Business Studies in University of Herts, UK.
I want to do phd from a good institute and then work as a lecturer while running business.
Now the question is shall I do the phd straight after my bachlors or do my masters first or do some work experience then masters then phd?
P.S>> Have to accomodate my study expenses myself.

Also... in order to get some suggestions, tell us a little about your aptitude:
- what type of courses did you like in your program / do well in?
- how did you fare in your placement?
- what's your program concentration/specialization if any?
- what choices do you have in mind for yourself after your bachelors?

APTITUDE
I have done two years of my bachlors in business and IT from Pakistan (IMS, BZU) stands fifth in the country and got highest CGPA in the batch for two years >> 3.9
then after two years I transferred my credits to second year of BA BUSINESS STUDIES here in UK to get competition. Scored average marks >> 2.1 due to settling deviations.
I am very literary, compiled a book, written few essays in University magazines but basically a reader.
INTERESTS
I performed well in IT(databases) and numeric modules(management sciences).
My interests are in political science, anthropology, history, comparative study of political history of religions>>> very off the track.
WORK
The work I have done was basically research and development one in the careers department of university GRADUATE FUTURES. After the work life, i thought its better to do business then living in a routine for others. Then thought of risk in business. Find a solution that>>> do phd>>>be a lecturer in pak at 80-90k/mnth>>>support living and do business side by side.
CHOICES
1) Do work for a year or two ...then masters or direct phd
2) find some sponsorship to do phd direct after bachlors
but totally felxible with it.
PROGRAM CONCENTRATION
First two years were in IT 3rd year was in Management Science (related to project management) but studied generalist route i-e HRM, marketing as well. Thinking of doing dissertation in HR btw.
