Start with a concept map. What do you want to explore...? That may a good starting. Consult google scholar and find some papers....read them and see what is going on...

^ agree with Lansing... Google Scholar would be a good starting point... also consider using your library's portal to access the Web of Knowledge to see what the seminal articles are in your research area.

Just to get you started, Participatory Employment Practices is one example of an HRM issue that you can talk about within the context of the banking sector. I've read a couple of articles on this topic.
