Dear guppans,

My brother’s mehndi is on 14th november…both my brother will come a week before from dubai so i have to arrange everything…

I am planning to arrange mehndi at home as there will be very less guests and those are very close relatives like all the khalas and there families and few very close friends…

Kindly help me decide what shall i arrange for dinner as i am so confused…tell me something for around 40 guests…

Also what other arrangements i can make as i am totally blank…for walima i have chose Gourmet catering services…barat is in alipur and walima will be in Lahore…

Pls pls pls help me.

As for food, even cooking for forty people in the home requires time, effort and willpower! Are you planning on making food for the mehndi yourself, or hiring a caterer/bringing food from out side?

I went to this mendhi that was in a little marquee in the hosts' garden. For food they had samosa, roast chicken, kebabs, channa chaat, nihari and naan.

yes and also we are on limited budget so i wanted suggestion what to do and what not to do....i have decided menu on mehndi is going to be paratha, tikka, pathorey, chaney mint sauce in meetha i have selected firni as on walima we have kulfa.....i hope this is fine :S
