How do you see Umera Ahmed's 'Peer e Kamil'? Do you people think that she unnecessarily brought a sectarian issue in that novel?
Decent to average.
I do, of you take that out then the book loses its sense of mystery or intrigue. Also, had it gone Sunni --> Shia, or the reverse, I really do think the book would not have been published, she might have been killed and/or fled the country.

In Pakistan, its Ahmed Nadeem Qasimi who wrote majority stories about rural Punjab. He is known as Encyclopedia of rural Punjab

Naseem Hijazi wrote historical novels. He wrote novels on Muhammad Bin Qasim, Tariq Bin Ziad, Yousuf Bin Tashfeen, Salah u din Aybi, Mahmood Ghaznavi, Tipu Sultan, etc. He also wrote two novels 'Shaheen' and 'Andheri Raat ke Musafir' revolving around last days of Muslims in Spain. My favorite novel by him is Qaisar o Kisra revolving around initial days of Islam.
