i hv this shawl gift by my cousin who bought from saudia. suggest me wt do i make for it. i think this is called stalk. or wt? also clarify me.
here in paklinks i hv no option for attachment that y i am posting fb links. plz see and give suggestion. thanx in advance.

Why don't you just wear it as a shawl???...it's pretty enough!...(the word you may be looking for is 'stole'..not 'stalk')...

Or...if you do want to make something....what about a kameez with the jhaalar..or pallu..on the daaman and sleeves??...my sister had a kameez done like this for me when she got me two stoles from Lahore.I wore it as a kurti top with jeans and wide leggd trousers.

Sorry...can't think of anything else.Maybe someone else will come along...:)...or try the Fashion forum.

thanx for clarifying the word & good options. actually i also hv thought like that. but i was confused which color would be good with these.

OIC...you want ideas on how to make something??...

Um..you could always use the paalu bit for the bodice...you know the tassles on the front and sleeves..and the rest as a border..together with an embroidered pattis in either matching or contrasting colours...and go for plain pants in ka***** type fabric.

Or...use the shawl as panels with the bodice bit made with pallu,and finish again with pattis.

The colours seem rather muted..you could go for maroons/dark greens or blues.

Well,I'm not sure now exactly what it is you want advice on.
If you just want to use the stole as it is...then just make a suit to go with it using the colours you already have.
If you want to use the stole as fabric,then use my suggestions above...
