hello people! i’v been reading this forum and there are so many helpful people here…so i am going to ask you all for your suggestions
the thing is that i am going to have nikkah in 1 month .. and i am looking for a good makeup artist, i know there are dozens out there but my complexion is not fair, its more wheatish a bit on the darker side (but not completely dark) and most of the artist are good with fair complexion people but with dark people they completely turn them into white cake pastries! i dont want to look like a cake pastry on my nikkah .. i want a make up that looks good on my color . i’v seen mona j and shamain’s makeup on dark colored people and its pretty good, but they are quite expensive charging 30k or more for a single event. if you guys can suggest some other artist who are good with wheatish/dark complexions and yet charge reasonable please let me know!!!
u may try najlas because they are good with tan complexions. or try maria jawwad, a free lance makeup artist. she ll come to ur home for makeup.

yes i am talking about the same najla’s salon. they r charging reasonable. a girl named aliya is there in nipa’s branch i guess. she did good job on 2 of my cousins and a friend.. then a girl works in both kda n jauhar branch named bina.. she did fab jod on my sister on her big day.. then comes FAUZIA ISMAIL in jauhar branch.. she did my nikkah makeup and one of my cousin’s wedding makeup..it turned out awesome, she is pretty good at eye makeup. but she told me she had a plan to move to allenora. so do check
can you please send me ur nikkah pic? also if you have the makeup pics of ur cuzin and frnds who got it done from najla’s? i’d really like to see the makeup. by the way .. are you fair colored or tanned?
My cousin got her nikkah makeup done from Mahrose hasan square branch, she has a normal complexion and she looked very pretty. I think they charged her 8000 to 10000
well i do sharayee parda n dont go fo photosession so i dont hav any pic of mine :)..i ll post u my friends and cousin's pic after taking their permission for sure :).. mahrose se makeup depends on ur luck.. if u r lucky enough,u look good.i hav complexion near to fair.i ll send u pics in the morning :)
