after starting with MAC studio fix fluid and dumping it because it's too orange (even if you have the right shade) and going in a loooong circle i came back to MAC.
but Full Coverage this time. i bought it for my wedding but unlike all the other MAC foundations it doesn't have that really yellow/orange colour in the NC's and C's. i use it with a synthetic flat foundation brush and you can really control the amount of coverage that way. for my wedding, i built up the layers and used it all over face and neck. after that, i'm still using it but with a light layer brushed on both cheeks and chin only. i use powder on top too, to set it and make the whole face look even.
it's a pro product though. and i never let MA's help me because they always get it wrong. i always apply a few shades along the jawline and go outside to check them in daylight. if you're not confident choosing yourself, take a friend who's opinion you trust.

checking the shades in day light is a good idea. :) i will def. do that.
^ sorry to break it to you but no foundation tastes good. you have three options: suck it up (not literally), not go near wifey whilst she has her slap on or, stop her from using makeup and then dare to be seen out with her au-naturale.
or option 4; produce your own range of men friendly make-up
:)
that's all well and good. but forget totally changing the way you look for a moment - makeup adds a touch of glamour. you put on nice clothes clothes, jewellery, heels, fix your hair etc, makeup completes the look.
unless your other half was a total stunner, wouldn't you expect a little makeup when you go out together?
anyway. seeing a guy when he's on a night out and then seeing him slob around the house when he's wearing 5 year old trackies, hasn't shaved/groomed his beard or cut his hair in a month... that's pretty freakin' scary too!
i dunno what kind of women you have been hanging around with, with that much makeup on.. are you sure they were even women??
and what are you talking about?? shaving makes a huge difference in a guy's appearance.
everyday in london, i see plenty of stunning girls without any makeup. to find a guy that makes you double-take is rare. or maybe london just has no talent when it comes to guys :(
anyone please suggest me any foundation/base for oily skin type my complexion is fair and my wedding is coming up , im really in need of a good foundation that stays long with great results ...
thanks in advance ... :)
Finding the right foundation is a huge concern for me too. I have medium brown skin tone with rosy undertones, but I also have hyper pigmentation and sun tan.
Nothing from the high street has ever looked right, and I'm now thinking of investing in Makeup Forever HD foundation sinceI've heard really good reviews about it.
