I’ve got a craving for sugarcane. What is it called in urdu, punjabi? I know its not challi but thats the only word I can remember right now.
And more importantly, can you grow it in a greenhouse? How?
It's called ganna in Urdu and you eat those little peeled and cut pieces known as 'ganderis'.
GanderiaN, oh man I haven't had them in more than a decade. And gannay ka juice. Hai Allah.
Sugarcane juice is actually available in
New york and Virginia. What's your location?
It might be available in other states as well.
I've not been able to find sugarcane juice in the Uk. Yes thats the word, thanks. I reckon ganderian are probably one of those few things that are not readily available outside of Pakistan. And possibly South America where it's mixed with petrol.
Ganna is usually grown in tropical climates.....So you won't see it in UK...
why is it mixed with petrol ????
It’s used as fuel too sweetie..don;t wory no one drinks that mix ![]()
I’ve never had gannay ka juice..only heard about it’s wonderful taste ![]()
