Sufism ( i burn again)

Re: Sufism ( i burn again)

Theoratically !
However the difference between a Sufi and a Muslim is that, a Sufi upon seeing a rape, will try think a beautiful verse to compose to describe the beauty of this moment...
you have very skewed perception of Sufis, which is understandable, muslims of today are hardly capable of seeing beyond the tinted window of hate and prejudice...

if you had any chance of reading history of some sufis you would find out that most of them were against the tyrinical rule of thier time. They raised voice against cruelty and oppression and most of the time they were treated as enemy of state and rebel.

Again if you have no understanding about sufis then I suggest you to read biography of sufi of our times, *Faiz ahmad Faiz . *

Read about him and tell me how would have reacted in the situation you painted above :)
The Muslim will fearlessly attack the rapist...
Again this a only one posibility...

Re: Sufism ( i burn again)

You are*** so ***messed up. This coming from me, the epitome of head-screwness.

I felt ill at reading that. Usually I let you bakwas and ignore it, I read what code_red said and he'd quoted your rubbish. The magic is that you won't even know what you've just typed and why its so grotesque.

You call that your "pristine" presentation?

Re: Sufism ( i burn again)

HaiN, this thread is back up again?

Okay folks, here's the thing. God can't be conceived of in the mind of an insignificant, flawed mortal speck. Now kindly stop philosophizing and get a job okay?

Re: Sufism ( i burn again)

That depends entirely upon your notion of God. On annother note, the employment of the (obviously) unemployed shouldnt be of any great concern to an evidently busy individual as yourself.

Unless of course you work in recruitment and are looking for gentle, sensitive souls ala lajjo. In which case proceed.

Re: Sufism ( i burn again)

I knew not that the jar was faked
its colours were the same
My heart beyond control, I thrust
myself on jar unbaked;

The thing on which my life I staked
in midstream landed me.
By help of which the longing eyes
did see Beloved’s face;

The jar, how could I sacrifice
as dear as life to me?
My heart exhausted is and weak,
no strength my limbs have now;

"O Sahar, thou dost know all this,
help me, cast thy tow
I am so ignorant, and thou
my love so great thour art.

The jar, the means to reach, did break,
alas, the maiden drowned,
But only then she heard the sound
of Sahar’s voice draw nigh.

The means on which she had relied,
did thrust her in the flood;
And only after she had died
she heard the herdsman’s call.

"The jar is broken! Let it go
obstructive screen it was mere
My real being is singing still
soul-music still is here
And still I seek my Sahar dear,
Though without ‘action` now

My hear, you keep on swimming
the jar let break and go…..
My eyes, I train them every day
more of control to know;

The Herdsmen led me, and did show
to me friend, the ‘straight` path.
Suggest no rafts to those who love
nor ask boat-men around;

Sohni that is for Sahar bound
enquiring doth not need.

Gammay

ypu will not be understood. you are better off starting a thread on the virtues of ooncha pajama :)

But I sincerely hope that reading what you have been reading has given you an insight into a faith in a way that a thousand screaming mullahs can never provide. best to you. If you are ever in Chicago drop me a note and I will take you along to some sufi gatherings. Very uplifting and very soothing. Great discussions as well.

Re: Sufism ( i burn again)

This is utterly crap. Absolutely BS and biased comment based on . Sufis has been utterly against any form of cruelity.

Re: Sufism ( i burn again)

what version of islam is this?

After Moussaoui endorsed suicide bombing missions as "not crazy but based on Islam," Spencer said softly, "You would do it again tomorrow if you could, wouldn't you?"

"Today," Moussaoui answered, smiling

so every one has thier own interpretation?
