Sufi Muhammad's eldest son killed in Swat shelling

Dawn reported this his son worked as a teacher in a government run school and had no history of involvement in his father’s activities.

ISPR says that his son was a militant.

The truth will probably never be known. Was he really as peaceful as his colleagues claim? Or are his colleagues spinning the story to generate sympathy against the government? If he did go and become involved in militancy, was it voluntarily or reluctantly feeling honour-bound to fight alongside old comrades or family?
