News are coming that Sufi Muhammad along with some other important figures of his side have been arrested.

I don't know about Sufi .. but 4 other leaders of TNSM are arrested few horus ago. Give them to army firing squared and hang their bodies on main Swat chowk. Believe me it will give people courage to come back !

I hope not. That should reserved for more deserving people like Shah Dauran, Muslim Khan, other dakku commanders etc.

Sufi is small fries. They could arrest him quite easily. I doubt he has very many years to live anyways.

TNSM are just as dangerous as the Backstreet Boys if compared to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, who are the prime targets of this operation, and responsible for every terrorist attack in the country that we know of since the last few years.
The most Sufi Muhammad can be tried for is inciting hatred against the Govt, and Contempt of Court.
It's Maulana Fazlullah and Baitullah Mehsud of the TTP that you want.

None of these is anywhere near the top TTP command. All these are TSNM guys who even TTP don't give much $hit about.
