Once again knowledge is attained in wierd places, well yesterday I was in a Hospital waiting room waiting on my sons hernia operation. So sat and read old National Geographic. This one dealt with Sudan, I was pleasantly surprised that the issue in Sudan is not really race or ethnic cleansing but more Yes you all guessed it “Black Water”. Black water is present in the southern parts of sudan and northern part doesn’t want the south to split. This is the logest civil war in modern age. it has been going on since the british left in 50s. there was a stop for two years ( I guess they all breathed and then started again).
Osman Al-Bashir and Turabi are the northerners and publicly they will denounce ethnic cleansing but it is their posses (janjaweeds) that go on killing, to keep the pipelines open flowing upwards towards north.
