Why God did not mention successor to prophet Muhammad clearly in Quran.
Was it not important?
It led to division in muslim very early.
Did God want muslims to decide in a democratic way by themselves?
As shias claim, selected family of prophet Muhammad was the “chosen one”,If it is true, Did God want to promote Kingship based on heritage??
The contents of quran is in a way timeless. The are the guidance of each and every muslim and society independent of Islam. He gave us guidelines in how to live and make our own decisions. If he had mentioned the successor of The Prophet (PBUH) than that part would have been obsolete and with no relevans to society afterwards.
