There is no generalzation in my statement above and it is completely in par with the topic at hand.

If any woman does not fit in to that statemment then why worry?
Why not just accept that there are SOME women who love to imitate men or wish to be compared with men?

On the other hand men hardly ever want to be compared with women.....let alone try to imitate them. :)

There is an unnatural assumption amongst modern day women that being successful means having a career and that housewives are in fact inferior. Oddly enough its the housewives that are actually living a happy and fulfilling life compared to the "successful woman". Secondly successful does not relate to a job at all. Being successful in life has very different standards. Sadly in the rush to become just like men they have lost sight of that.

The definition of a successful man: 1. A good job 2. Good pay 3. A great house and car 4. A Happy family with a happy wife and kids

You forgot that they have to carry the baby and such career minded women don't want the hassle. I have also heard of women say that they don't want to mess up their toned body by becoming pregnant as not everyone shrinks back to their original size.

Successful woman / man is not someone who has a great career, lots of money, status in society and no family OR his/her family is ignored coz of busy work schedule. Successful means, one is successful in each field of life. In short he/she is successfully able to keep the balance between every aspect of life.

Only shadi or only career doesnt make anyone successful or a failure.

"Successful woman" are by and large unmarried. Why? Marriage was not a priority. Work was. You reap what you sow.

Most of our behaviors are derived from our instincts. I believe, by nature, women FEEL the need to have protection and security from partners for themselves and their off springs. For a "Successful woman", that need is greatly reduced (even though the feel may not reduce) and if she has a choice, instinctively, she will aim for a significantly higher comfort level. Hence, the prospective partners are greatly reduced. I believe, if she is not bound by the society, she may prefer to stay single as long as is possible to allow herself to evaluate the maximum number of prospective males.

Show me one guppan who defined successful women differently than I did. You don't count as you agree with my original post. Hell even Sehrysh tries to do so with career and successful but does little more.
