Re: Successful career woman = egomaniac and all things selfish
the original post reflects more on the author than the women he's calling out for being egomaniacs, relationship malignant. Clearly he's got some unresolved issues and he himself is an self obsessed ego maniac who cant handle the though of another human being more successful or intelligent than himself, so he bashes a hundred thousand women, instead of realizing that everyone has flaws/goodness about them whether they're educated/house-wives/career oriented or not.

Re: Successful career woman = egomaniac and all things selfish
Is that truly that commonly prevailing belief: that a woman wanting a successful career automatically is a bad woman? Why can't a woman be both an uber-successful career woman and a happy homemaker?
I don't have a yes or no answer to your question. People with stereotypes against career women tend to believe that some how, they need to manage decisions and choices for these women. IMO women by default know her responsibility when she gets into the role of being a wife and/or a mother. So if she can balance both, she'll continue to do that. If at any point family needs more attention than her career, she'll not need direction from her partner to make compromises, she'll do it on her own, willingly.
