How do you define success? What does success mean to you?

Success is only known when one has tasted it...

For me success at having survived to make a fammily and live a good life is success enough.

But then again I have yet to succeed only much later can I decide whether I am successfull or not.

Since I was accused of skirting the issue last time, here I will define what success means to me:

1. Being a good Muslim and meeting my obligations to Allah.
2. Being a part of a family, and having family and friends who love, care and need me and returning that care and affection in equal measure.
3. Being educated or learned - some people don't go through conventional schooling - but they are very aware and informed about people and the world around them, so generally, the valuing knowledge.
4. Being financially able to afford a roof over my head, clothes, food, maybe a vacation or the odd luxury everyone once in a while (which means a not too shabby shoe budget) - really the absence of financial worries that can be managed by budgeting.
5. Living a life where I am able to make a contribution to the world I live in and having said contribution valued and appreciated.
