Mayb at the beginning..but normally beauty fades and the real person comes out...so I dnt think it is a big deal...coz normally its ur mehnath that will take you places.

sometimes beauty can get you in easily but to stick to it and progress solely depends on abilities unless off course you get married to CEO early on :)

i think there are studies on this subject atleast from a earnings and career perspective that attractive people earn more, but that is just one aspect of a successful life i guess.
the question is that is it a direct relation or indirect where it helps with confidence in different aspects of life.. academics, interactions, relationships etc which then translate into better opportunities. or, is it a bit of both.

good personality, smart appearance , Outer and Inner beauty Helps a lot and I am not talking only about ladies ,lads too..
Obviously you have to have other qualities as well but I personally think looks count at least 20% in your career.

It depends on what life you wish to choose to follow. Personally i was once very good looking but i have always had a simple mind... perhaps even bigotted.
However in these later years my bones and skin are much more prominent and i look nowhere near as good, in fact looking at a mirror these days reflects back the years of scars both mental and physicall.
But does that come between me and success? Not for me it doesn't for i have a wonderfull life and am more than happy with my position.
I am much more alert and although i may not be as smart or beautifull i still poses far more strenghth and wit to survive than ever before.
I look forward to my future years... for this warrior i find my hard days are far from over in fact i am only begining to move forwards and start something new... it begins here.

Well...try it for yourself...If you are good looking, wear makeup and tight clothes, and walk in to some office that you desire to work at....The HR will definately hire you. After three months you will get promotions without asking and so on and so forth. Once you reach to a successful level. Who cares about the beauty fading away.
I knew this girl from Mississauga, had nothing, she used to work at the Gas station, her father used to beat her up, she was a Grade 11 drop out. She had an account at RBC and the customer service rep she used to see was Pakistani. Now the Customer service rep's brother showed up one day and really liked her because all she had were looks. That guy went crazy after her, and got her in RBC as a Customer service rep (in bound caller), later on, she was an account manager something.
She left her own boyfriend whom she had a serious relationship that never looked like it was going to end was ended and she took off with Customer service rep's brother. :)
So beauty matters if you want to use it as a substence for your success. :)
