Militants behead Pakistani soldier: officials KHAR, Dec 16 (AFP): Pakistani security forces Sunday recovered the beheaded body of a soldier from a tribal region bordering Afghanistan, local officials said. The body, along with its severed head, was found dumped near a road on the outskirts of Khar, the main town in Bajaur Agency, they said. A letter recovered from his pocket said the soldier belonged to the paramilitary force, a local official said. It went on to say that the soldier had been killed by local Taliban. lets get one thing clear the emergency was never intended to deal with terrorists. It was their to deal with his hold on kursi for which he used the terrorist card as well. Shame on him.

According to Mushie, it was the primary reason... He cited the terrorist as the reason behind banning the media and getting rid of the judges.

You have only posted 268 times! How in the hell do you know what I have or havent supported in the past? How do you know I havent condemned these acts? You dont know a thing about me!
For your information, EVERYONE on this forum, just about everyone atleast, SUPPORTED Musharaf at one point.. I supported him upto March 12th, and even after that until the Emergency.. After that I turned against this dictator completely. So stop making these ill informed assumptions.

The point is, that Emergency was a failure... It didnt stop the terrorists.
All Musharaf did was attack the liberals, the media, and civil society... That was the whole purpose of this.. A selfish need to perpetuate his highness Musharaf throne..

Musharafs incompetance has created these rifts... One of the dangers of attacking the civil society is that people will turn against Musharaf instead of against the Mullahs and terorrists.
