when we subscribe any thread…we do get an email when ever there any new new reply there…If 100 replies means 100 emails in our email account!
Its annoying … to me this option makes the service tastless…and hence we avoid to subscribe any forum or thread, which indeed we want to but due to emails!
Is it possible to remove this email notification option ?
It will also reduce a work load on mail-server and will reduce the bounce back to GS server the fake emails as well…
First of all....No that option will not be removed.
Secondly an email is sent when first msg is posted AFTER the user leaves the thread. No more emails are sent till the user actually visits the thread again.
