I want to know if anyone knows anything about the authentiity of this website. I personally think the website contains a lot of spurious information nicely cloaked in some sophistic opinions and ideas. One of my cousins has recently fallen into the trap and now constantly dismisses all hadiths as false. I haven’t been able to come up with any counterargument, since i am pressed for time and haven’t been able to read up on it. I know there are some connections with Rashad Khalafa (a bawdy villain). Would someone, who knows about this website, please give out more information or links, so we can debunk and dunk this thing out for the uninformed.
Re: Submission.org
i suppose the site's still harping on about Rashad Khalifa being some appointed "Messenger of the Covenant" and a messenger after Muhammad (s)
some of Khalifa's erroneous (and devious) miscalculations to prove his discredited #19 theory are covered in The Qur'an's Numerical Miracle: 19 Hoax and Heresy by Dr. Bilal Philips
Re: Submission.org
Oo that would be an interesting book to read.
For the record, I'm not dope's cousin.
Re: Submission.org
submission.org is a site created and maintained by followers of rashad khaleefa, who like many others before him, has claimed prophethood after Muhammad (saw), although Islam clearly states that no prophet is to come after Muhammad (saw)....
there r many muslim scholars who have refuted the claims of rashad khaleefa, and he has only a very small number of followers....
others who tend to follow him r those who look for excuses to drink and fornicate, and rashad khaleefa's theories please them well, and hence they opt to follow him....
Re: Submission.org
Hm, is this rashad khaleefa alive now, or he was one of the fake prophets that came about after the Prophet's death and this group still follows him?
Do they claim on the website that he's a Prophet? Does the website claim affiliation with Rashad Khaleefa?
Re: Submission.org
I think he was put to death by the Egyptian government (?)
Re: Submission.org
Oh I just looked him up - he's a desi?
Hmm...I dunno, has he actually written any sort of publication in which he claims to the the messenger of God? Haha, I pulled a site that says he's dajjal...
:-\
In all fairness, knowing how some people can get when mesmerized by what they only think is their faith cough cough, mudslinging and false accusations easily can come about to someone innocent. Unless he's written some sort of publication that says "Hi, I'm your Prophet. Now Obey me", or something like that...a lot of these accusations could be fabrications as well...
You have to keep things in perspective. If anyone has some solid info on him, please share. These websites are so biased and sometimes full of nonsense.
Re: Submission.org
My recollection is that he actually claimed to be khuda, not just prophet, though it remains arguable whether he was in his full senses when he made the comment.
Re: Submission.org
i've read personally in his own authorship his claim to messengership... that his name Rashad Khalifa is mathematically specified in the Qur'an as God's messenger... and his view that the Qur'an has been subject to tampering vis-a-vis the last two verses of surah 9
not sure how many books he wrote... i remember reading one over ten years ago...
