Re: Subject's for Pakistani Movies
I'm not aware to what extent KKL was censored, and which scenes were cut.
My theory on the censor policy of PMP is simple - its complete delusional nonsense. What the heck do they censor, I want to know? They show unbelievable violence which desensitizes every kid in Pakistan - now we know partially why its so easy to brainwash villagers into terrorism - and who exactly has been censoring the gyrating exposed overweight bellies of every friggin' Pakistani actress? Films are filled with obscenities and violence - so what exactly do they censor?
You pay them enough money, and they will not censor. Its simple. Completely corrupt system.
Re: Subject's for Pakistani Movies
i think more movies like khuda ke liye should be made
that movie was made of what pakistanis go through and movies that feature pakistani culture and life
Re: Subject's for Pakistani Movies
I disagree, even though i think Khuda Kay liyeh as a movie was good and a hope that probably people in Pakistan can after all try and continue to make films if they can make similar films but it was released at a time when all these things were happeneing to muslims and thats why it clicked..if movies are to be made then i don't say they should be like bollywood type that that pagal guy javed sheikh makes but they should be entertaining like that and they should represent Pakistan i.e. so that people can distinguish between a Pakistani film and a bollywood film...but to make arty, sad and realistic movies is pretty easy in a way, just take a real story do some reasearch go to a village take actors which don't show glamour, add some folk songs and make it all realistic and it will work..they should make the qualities of their movies good and stories can be realistic even but make them commercial type.
Its not all about subject and showing what pakistanis are going through whats become a trend is like show sadness and all and you have a good thoughtful film, film making should show creativity as well and the film makers should be willing enough to spend some money and think a lot over their films and show that they have the ability to make films which can be commercial and appealing.
