Subhash Ghai's new film - Valu (Wid Bull)

Mukta Arts’ just released film Valu (wild bull) is a hilarious allegory on man’s ‘free will’. Never miss a good movie.

Film: Valu (wild bull)
Director: Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni
Cast: Atul Kulkarni, Dr Mohan Agashe, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Bharati Acharekar, Girish Kulkarni, Nirmitee Sawant

In the small village of Kusavde, Valu, the wild bull is at loose and is blamed for the destruction that happens there. Now, catching the bull becomes equivalent to establishing power in the village for the leaders.

A forest officer is called from the city to catch the bull. And what happens is a roller-costar ride with two warring leaders; love-stories that bloom in the midst of the adventure; an amateur film-maker who struggles to shoot a documentary; a forest officer who leads this chaos like a sacred mission and a mad woman who seems to understand the mind of Valu!

The film is a hilarious allegory, where Valu represents the free will.

There is a growing demand in India for Regional Films these days. There have been great Marathi films released in the lat few years. ‘Tingya’ is one movie which beat Taare Zameen Par at Mumbai
