I was walking to my car today, coming home from work. When a rabbit, crossed my path…
then it stopped to nibble on grass on the other side of the path. I dont know why…but I walked up to it, and as I got closer, it moved further away…I think I wanted to take a pic of it or something? Kher, it wouldn’t stay…so I said “Assalamalikum” to it, and it stopped, then I started reciting Surahs out loud, and it didn’t move, instead it turned its head, and started to stare at me. I got closer and closer (Still reciting surahs) and was just a feet or so away from it, and it didn’t run away! SO i stood there beside it, and recited surahs after surah, while it just sat there looking at me.
Then I decided to leave, and it ran away.
SubhanAllah, little things like that make you realize, how Great Allah swt is. We’re all his creatures, be it a dog, or humans. His creation is unmatched. His oneness, like no other.
