Re: subha sadiq, after talu-e-aftab

Peace dosa chick,

If i'm not wrong then Subah Sadiq is also known as "True Dawn" and opposite of it known as "False Dawn", i.e. Subah Kadhib. In both 'Sadiq (true) and Kadhib (false)', down is common.

Actually Dawn happen very early before the sunrise, like in very beginning, a vertical white streak of light appears above the horizon. It is known as "False Dawn or Subah Kadhib". But in case of True Dawn, the sun's rays or light change their direction and begin to spread over the horizon.

After that 'shorooq time started. In example: Fajer time is 4:45am. (Subah Kadhib) and at around 5:10am white streak of light appears above horizon but the sun still didn't raised, known as (Subah Sadiq) and when the sun is up at 6:01 (or lil before that) is known as Shrooq or Talu-e-Aftab.

"Dawn" is actually the moment when the reflected and refracted rays from the sun begin to reach the earth.

Timing may vary due to different locations.
