Technical faults I can put up with...after all I fon't expect the quality of equipment or expertise that we get from major satellite broadcasters. But simple things like interrupting crucial live coverage to broadcast the same ads again and again just shouldn't happen. There's no excuse for such a clueless approach when you are broadcasting worldwide audiences and it sends out a message to the world that Pakistan is capable of only producing shoddy products.
I think one effective method of getting across the negative response to their unprofessional coverage would be to mail a link to this thread so that at least they would understand that their faults are being exposed on a public message board. Individual complaints will probably get ignored. I'm also thinking of writing in to the Jang News Group who publish letters every day. A bit of public exposure might be more effective than anything else.
I’d still say you should give them a call on the Weekend show

well some can have a laugh at the current situation of ARY Viewers while others would give a damn lot to be in the position to watch the match (or parts of it between the ads) … e. g. those in the U.S. and Canada …

I didn’t watch long enough to note whether the commercials were being shown as well. I will never buy a packet of saki as long as I live. However, here is another funny thing, just to highlight their unprofessionalism. I am not sure whether they were broadcasting the match live themselves or were getting a feed from another station. when the live feed broke down they connected it through Ten sports and every few minutes the transmission would breakdown with a message “Ten sports - Channel scrambled”. Maybe they hadn’t paid ten sports.
maybe it's not the repeat of the 1st innings...it is the missed parts of that innings :D

maybe i can open for those who don’t exactly what ARY is doing for getting Live Cricket onto the European version of their channel:
Ten Sports has two regional Beams (broadcasting directions)
1st. To the Indian Subcontinent wth parts of east Asia on the PanAmSat 10 at 68.5°East (this signal is transmitted in C-Band with Irdeto-2 Encryption)
2nd. To the Middle East via the NileSat 101/102 on 7°West (This signal is transmitted in Ku-Band also in Irdeto-2 Encryption)
The first Beam is meant for Cable operators in Pak and Ind and not for direct to home service. The 2nd is for Cable operators in the middle east + direct to home service in the same region.
Ary use to get it’s signal via the 1st beam/signal to UK which needs them to install a dish beyond 3.60m or 12 foot to ensure a flawless reception of the signal even in case of haey rain or storms …
it seems that they are having trobles with dish or it’s parts and then tried to switch over to the signal from NileSat which needs a smaller dish but the encryption of this beam/signal is different from the previous that’s u could see/read the message “Ten Sports Channel Scrambled”
This takes nothing away from the claim that r a unprofessional lot
If u have anything negative to say about ary on this program u get cut off. that happened to my dad when he complained about their schedule.

Just like umair said, u guys r so lucky to even be able to watch cricket... here in usa, haram hai jo cricket kee aik ball bhi dikh jaey (unless ofcourse u r playing yourself). Any updates on ARY coming to USA? that dishnetwork thing sucks so bad... they hardly ever show any cricket matches, and even the ones they show are priced exhorbitantly high. I have a bad feeling that even pak/south africa series wont be shown in USA.
Just watched the highlights today. Although the live coverage has stopped missing out half the overs, the highlights managed to miss out the whole of Yoyo’s spectacular knock (which was a highlight 
) and also Man of the Match Hameed’s 50 milestone and dismissal. Looks like the janitor’s been moved to night shifts
Last Sunday they started playing the ARY jingle right in the middle of an over (after the 2nd ball). And then the logo just stayed on the screen for several minutes. The broadcast resumed on the 6th ball of that over. 
When is ATN ARY digital coming to canada ???!!!!!

Man, this has improved drastically since we started complaining! Live coverage no longer misses any live action, and the Highlights programme is also being edited far more professionally since the BD series when we kicked up a stink.
I just watched the latest Highlights programme and it’s moved on leaps and bounds since we first raised our concerns. Kudos to us for bringing this issue up, and kudos to ARY for responding! :k:
