Styling Dresses -

I find lack of idesas when styling dresses.

Options i can think of arE:

  • A-Line shirt
  • Anarkali frock - kaliyan & simple
  • Angrakha (side knot)
  • Velvet border
  • Jamawar border
  • front open style

What else? I need to make dresses for some one almost 10 and all need to be fancy and different. What options are there to play with these styles? what else can i do?

And by styling i mean different styles of stitching, if you have shalwar kameez fabric what designing can be done on it. Some thing other than simple frocks is a welcome!

We are in the same boat my friend. I wonder how some people come up with creative ideas :(

Re: Styling Dresses -

you guys suck ... why don't you just go online an copy other people's ideas and change them slightly and pass them out on your own ... gosh its like you kids never went to university

Re: Styling Dresses -

Well when i buy my clothes most of the time instantly i know how i am gonna get them stitched. If not, then i sit at nite and make my sketches :D then off to the lace shop the next day n i get more ideas from the laces/buttons n other embellishments too.

I agree with libranrulz there are many websites that have great collection of latest styles these days.

Long shirts and kaftan styles are very much IN these days. We don't see much of those here in San Diego but I see a huge demand for those news styles from our online boutique.

Re: Styling Dresses -
