Posted that some time back as well but got no replies. Does anyone know of some easy to make hair styles that you can wear to work. All I know is putting a rubber band but I just don’t like my look with that at all. Other option is to get a hair cut and keep them loose and I so don’t want to cut them right now.
Re: Style for long straight hair for work
Check out letsmakeitup1 on youtube. She has some good hair tutortials.
Otherwise bun, fish plait, french plait, normal plait, topsy tail pony, half up pony etc
Re: Style for long straight hair for work
I recently learned this hairdo from a friend of mine, it could look really clean and professional if done right ( of course I didnt brush out my hair)
make a ponytail, pull it up and roll it up. Make a pocket right before the ponytail begins and tuck the tail in there, secure it with hair pins.. use an elastic thats not so visible, unlike mine.
My friend has shorter hair, it looked much nicer on her.

Nice slicked back ponytail
Re: Style for long straight hair for work
Flat iron hair and put them in a low ponytail. Looks very nice, otherwise buns. I have very long hair and used to wear it that way for work. Worked!
Re: Style for long straight hair for work
Oh sana I make that hair do all the time! its the most easiest, effortlessly pretty hairdo. but I think I'll have to disagree with it looking better on short hair, because when I had short hair, and even now, my hair tends to fall out, and lots of bobby pins dont look that good. Just my opinion though.
Re: Style for long straight hair for work
I tried that today and its actually quite simple, takes less effort and voila! I was really happy with such quick hair fix. thanks a lot sanaabc. Keep sharing more tips :) nice post.
Re: Style for long straight hair for work
I also don’t like sporting a regular ponytail so i usually wear my second-day hair like this:
Simple Looped Side Ponytail - YouTube
or i wear the bun that Sanaabc posted
Both are really easy and quick once you try a few times. It looks like you put some time into your look which people always appreciate ![]()
