I actually thought about this thread this morning on the way to work!
This morning, I saw a girl wearing a beige miniskirt with ruffles on the bottom, with a yellow button down top (the kind you wear to work) tucked in and the HIGHEST wedges I have ever seen in my life. I wanted to take a picture from my phone as she clonked down the street but people kept getting in the way. It was hilarious because she couldnt even walk right (she was teetering) but had the attitude of a trendsetter: "you know you want me"!
Here is the worst part: Her skirt was SO tight, you could see undie lines...ick! I was in pain FOR her!!!!!!

I totally understand what you are saying.....
I used to work in a fashion store as temp and there we had our Manager checking us in would always check how we are dressing......not to mention that many times girls were asked to go back home and change.......into stylish but not at all vulgar!
There is fine line between sensuality and vulgarity.... but in office environment one needs to be extra careful!
But the faux pas of the girl that I was referring to at the start of my thread...
light yellow colored shirt and capri in turquoise color...... with fishnet stockings...as she is tall her capris were right length, just below knees but her idea of covering her legs with fishnet stocking....:) threw many of us.....off our chairs...and not to mention aqua metallic nail enamel......
This is the first time that she has dressed like that eva in her life......but we are still at loss of reason why would she even do such stuff!

@ fishnets omigod thats just plain wrong.
fishnets in themselves require quite an art to be worn correctly to not look too pornographic
Maybe she was trying to impress a guy, no matter who the guy is they all love fishnets and latex

You know, the gharara part of the outfit is not bad at all.
But the shirt looks more like one of those hospital gowns.

^ the material isnt the problem either as much as the shirt has absolutely no design.
Its plain, the gala is plain, the sleeves are plain its just Blah!!
maybe this will look good on the ramp with a tall, slender model but jaya :no: and not at international event atleast . she should’ve worn a saree ,she looks so sober in sarees.

it looks like she’s wearing a lacha- (sp???) … she pulled a muscle in her neck, thus needing a hideous green scarf (that matches…not) to support her neck…and a kameez she borrowed from her nauker..
