I’ve seen soo many women around me sacrificing… first for their parents and then for their husbands…and wat I felt soo in return they r not getting anything…and I guess after a while husbands or parents also get so much used to it that they dont even feel that someone is sacrificing their life for them and she should’nt be doing that… as she also have right to do something for herself for her life…

i wouldn't call them stupid because all women arent like that some fights for their rights and don't destroy their lives for others and others just take the ride its just kahin auratain majboor ya kamzaur hoti hai

i dont think so any women is stupid but i am not sure about people who make such comments.
there is equal responsiblity on both genders in terms of responsibility set by ALLAH, and if we rightly follow the basis of islam every one has its own limitations and share of responsibility.
Both mother and father (parents ) do so much for there kids,there daughtersand sons .Good islamic husband is required to do the duties as per ordered.
and womens then inturn play there part and do there duties what is expected of them.
so its all matter of sharing responsibilities.

Some self-saccrifice is necessary in a family unit. But there is no law that says only mom should saccrifice. And realistically, I doubt that is the case. Most family members do each have their share of saccrifices. Just look at your own family. I bet you've done some saccrifices for your parents as they've done for you.
But some go overboard, and saccrfice who they are just to get abused in return. And then they just complain and don't get themselves out of the situation. Yes, THOSE women are really stupid.

They totally ignore the 'sacrifices' guys make. Totally amd completely. They totally ignore that most guys more or less spend their lives working their arses off for their immediate families, and sometimes the extended ones too.

as far as i know desi women are full of self-sacrifices. i know it seems so sad sometimes da way they are neva appreciated but we dunno wats going on inside the 4 walls of their homes. not for us to judge if they being stupid or smart. everyone have different priorities in life, and they act according to those priorities. they are on da ground, we're da onlookers. they see things around them which we cant see. that doesnt make them stupid :D

An unfortunate aspect of our culture is that women are not given education. She may not have been exposed to 'her rights' or even if she knows she's not being treated fairly she has no voice. Self-esteem is a very delicate thing. If Muslims followed Islam properly this wouldn't happen.

There are different forms of education. Everyone needs basic education, which these days in the US goes up to college education.
But not everyone needs to get their butt in medical school, law school, and other specialized programs. There is a reason why there are only X number of seats. Not everyone and their mom is meant for those programs, and only people who WANT to USE the degree and have the qualifications for it should be allowed in. So yes, a female is “stealing opportunities” if she is going to med school, for example, and aiming to do nothing but sit at home as mom for the rest of her life. But don’t confuse that with general education.
