Yeah it was very stupid of him to be cleaning the ball like this esp. after the drama of the Oval test. The good news is that he has been cleared of any wrong doing by Procter and the two on-field umpires

At least it shows how accurate cameras at the Oval would have been if there was ball tampering.

All this fuss over nothing. Though I am relieved he wasn't charged for anything. You can't trust ICC and the umpires these days. Seriously.

The refree and the umpire cleared him of any ball tampering but what do they know, certain guppies on GS hereby declare that he did tamper with the ball and that is final.

And all other freaks on this thread, should pay attention to the fact that “camara work” during this incident was deliberate and ‘scouting’ for an evil shot (God knows for how many hours in desperate search to become a hero)which the f***k moron camaraman caught.
There was no wrong doing with the ball. Similar minor ball scuffing incident are an occurrence on daily basis where ever cricket is being played.
If this flick was to be true than all players are found guilty of eating their own nose shyt as seen several times on TV or bitting nails / fingers after scratching their baals or assez with’em.

the only point i wanted to mention was that, he should have not done even this “small” thing . i myself play little bit of cricket and infact with Shoaib as well in College days, so i know you cant destroy the ball just doing once or twice like this what he did. BUT he is also aware that it is tough time for Pakistani Team, so when he could get a wicket on very first ball with that inswinger , then why even trying something like this that may cause problems later.
and as i said earlier , being neutral, i felt as he “tried” something that is not allowed and as he did it, you also saw that, was all that made it as he is trying to do something that is not allowed in few stupid rules of cricket…
