Okay so I’m trying to do my college applications online, and I accidentally clicked on a box that I didn’t need to select, and now it won’t let me unselect it. it’s not like a check mark, its one of those circle ones with a green dot.
And I’ve tried EVERYTHING I like clicked away from it I right clicked I clicked all the other ones and the dot just WON’T go away!!!
there should be a contact number given for technical assistance for online applications. call them up and spend an hour or so on the phone have you tried restarting your application? not redoing
Phatima, just cuz of the joke section thing I'll give u the answer :p.
2 options:
1. Use a different web browser. ie. if that problem came up in Internet Explorer then use either Firefox or Opera
2. Clear cache and all cookies from the current browser.
It should not matter at all. It clearly says, "If Yes". If you have selected "No", it will not take into account what option you have selected later (if it is properly programmed, that is).
Its called an "option button" or a "radio button", not a selection box or a selection circle.
To answer your question, its a badly designed/developed html form. That is all there is to it. I have seen it many times where a (deselected/default) option is available for selection but there isn't a way to deselect it once you have already selected it. You best bet is to redo the application and don't select the culprit next time.
I don’t know how to get Firefox or anything else we just use IE. And I will try to clear the cookies when I get home, but I don’t think that will work. Thanks anyways.
As long as the first one is "No", the Grad/Undergrad doesnt matter if its selected or not. The Grad/Undergrad only applies IF the first one has been selected as "Yes".
