...Stupid Rules...

In this thread, list the most ridiculous rules (no, not gupshup rules :smilestar: ) you’ve come across that did not make any sense as to why they came up with the rule? :frusty:

These 2 are from my High School in Pakistan that still drive me nuts:

  1. Our school was big, it had small roads inside and buildings were separate from each other. I used to go on a bike. The rule was that as soon as you enter the school premises, you must walk with your bike. You could not ride the bike anymore, and if you got caught, the teachers used to punish (beat you up) you. Their reason was that is to respect the school :mad2:

  2. Our school had big ground, for cricket, soccer, and other games etc. Unless you were playing on it during recess, you were not allowed to walk on/cross the grounds. You were forced to walk on the road/pathways. Why? I have no frigging idea :mad:

Re: ...Stupid Rules...

There is a sign on a major highway going from Detroit to Chicago: No U turn.
Now, why would I make a U turn on a one way highway that has wall between the highway going the opposite direction????? Someone must have dunnit before I bet! The question is who...

Re: ...Stupid Rules...

hey they have the same rules
for the bike rule here tooo

Re: …Stupid Rules…

When you say “here”, what country do you mean by that?

Another one: When other schools and business had days off on Allama Iqbal day or Qaaed Day or Pakistan Day etc., we were forced to go to school, to listen to lousy speeches by fellow students :no: I guess I understand their reason/purpose behind it, but come on man, we are freaking kids, give us a break :mad:

Re: ...Stupid Rules...

And they use to tell us play
stupid four squares and everyother games by school rules

Cafe Froum;

Sticky thread " Policies / FAQs ";

Post #1, Rule#7

What the heck is that? If I am talking about constipation or EMM is talking about Proctoplasty, for some people it could be humor, but for the rest of us, that is a serious problem.

I say, fire all Cafe Mods for having such rules and policies :chai:

Re: ...Stupid Rules...

^ Whew! I am glad I am not the one who made that rule.
