Are we going to do the same for having more than one car, SUVs, how about more than one bottles of beer, etc.? As more people die in car and DUI related accidents than with guns. Are we going to license how much alcohol and how many cars people can buy? You have to understand the history and thought behind US weapons laws and 2nd amendment before you start throwing terms like “licensing” around, that would make it a privilege, bearing arms/self-defense is a RIGHT, not a privilege.
For some TT may be enough, for others, you need more than that to stop someone. Look up FBI stats on what it takes to stop a grown man, someone with large frame… you will not get *headshot *every time.
This is not a gun laws issue, its much more than that and stricter gun laws will never solve the problem.
