it's really easy, you just take one pill. you can get them from the pharmacy without prescription. they usually come in a family pack so everyone in the family can take one and eliminate the problem.
why do i know this? i was (still am) convinced my brother has some kind of worms from all his travels in far off places as he eats SO MUCH but is still ALWAYS HUNGRY but doesn't put on any weight. what the hell! i can't seem to make anyone believe my hypothesis tho :(

suhaina, the best thing is to ask your pharmacist.
Anti-pinworm drugs such as albendazole (Albenza), mebendazole (Vermox, OVEX), Piperazine and pyrantel pamoate (Pin-X, Reese's Pinworm Medication) are commonly used to treat pinworms.
I dunno where you live. If you're in the UK Boots sell Ovex and their own brand threadworm tablets. Elsewhere you can just ask for mebendazole.
oh.. i'm putting this here because although everyone is having a good laugh it is very common and should be treated. any of you who are parents should watch out for you kids scratching their butt - they can easily be picked up from other kids that don't wash their hands at school.
also, in a lot of cases, there are no symptoms, not even the itchy butt.

may b formula can be same but name must b different.

i m finding a medicine for threadworm specifically.

i even heard these worm medicines has some sideeffects as welll.they are lil
poisonous to kill worms etc

these all are available in pakistan as well..vermox is the most common one here. better you get a stool test to confirm the infestation.
