Please share recipes of your fave parathey stuffings…

Here’s mine:

Aloo key parathey stuffing:

4 aloo, boiled or microwaved, peeled and mashed while hot
1/4 onion chopped
1/2 cup dhaniya leaves chopped
1-2 green chillies chopped
zeera, whole coriander, whole red chillies equal parts dry roasted and coarsely ground, 2 tsps of final product
salt
1/4 tsp red chilli powder

mix it all up and stuff in your aata!

Re: Stuffed parathey

My ammi sometimes stuffs leftover channay ki daal(which hasn’t been made with too much shorba) into rotis after adding some green chillies, dhaniya and usual spices…it tastes too good…

When I was in college there used to be a cafeteria kinda thing across the street and that person used to sell chicken parathas…They were oh so so good…!!!
I have tried them a few times at home and the closest I came to the original was like so…Boil some chickemn with salt and pepper …shred it …
then in a pan heat some oil and saute a medium onion…when slightly pinkinsh add the shredded chicken and bhoonify for a while…add dhaniya, mint leaves.green chillies and the usual spices(zeera, salt, red chillies) and some mashed potato as a binder…stuff in the rotis and make as you would make a paratha…
It tastes so different then the regular qeema paratha thing…

Now I miss those parathas and college…:hinna:

Re: Stuffed parathey

my indian friends aunt showed me how to make mooli parathas.
basically she stuffed the parathas with a lot of freshly grated mooli, finely chopped fresh coriander, salt to taste (just a little bit) and green chilis.
delicious.

Re: Stuffed parathey

I like them with bhuna huwa qeema and aloo ka bhurta.

And since there is absolutely no way I can enjoy these without tons of butter, I only have them twice a year.

:(

my mom also makes mooli ka paratha , I have never eaten it since I dont like the smell of mooli but everyone else in my family just loves it !

I make moong ki daal ka paratha with simple bhooni moong ki daal that we eat with roti.

I also make qeema ka paratha with the qeema of shami kababs .

Aloo ka paratha.

Cheese paratha ......tht's my own recipe since no one else in my family likes it I just put shreded cheddar cheese and make a realy crispy paratha ....it's yummy :)

I love keemay ka and aloo kaa parathaa.Nik btw do you make two rotis and stuff potato in it or with one roti and stuff potato in it.

Re: Stuffed parathey

I make one larger peRa, then bailo it, then add the stuffing in the center and fold all the edges in. Then bailo over it. It goes very smoothly.

Re: Stuffed parathey

haye haye.. :smack::smack:

do patti wala paratha it’s called…

and yeh I love gobi ka paratha, shaljum ka, keeme ka tu classic hai, aloo ka and mooli ka.

Re: Stuffed parathey

do patti wala .....neva heard of it :(

I make two small pera , bailo it a little spread the masala , cover it with the other same sized pera , then with fingers close the ends by pressing it and then bailo it.

Re: Stuffed parathey

Re: Stuffed parathey

i make chicken paratas from left over chicken salaan. i make chicken strips and use a bit of the salaan. tastes so nice!

Re: Stuffed parathey

I once made spicy parathas, just created a new recipe , they came out good ...

Just crush some onions , fry them, add ginger garlic , some tomatoes , salt , chilli, lots of green chillies and fresh cilantro...

Then mix this in the flour and prepare a dough. then roll out a paratha and fry it . I normally prepare them , cut them into tiny pieces as a serving with tea...
